We chose to stay at the Riu Latino Adult Only All-Inclusive Resort. The resort was opened in 2022 and houses 594 rooms, they do have swim-up suites as well. This resort is also beach front which includes free sun loungers on the beach. It has 3 swimming pools with an additional 2 with swim up bars. It also has the “Splash Water World” water park with different water slides. Guests must be a height of 3.9 ft tall to be admitted. This brand of resorts, have an app where you can request what you would like in your minibar, you can also check-in in advance online, as well as see the events scheduled, and the menus to the restaurants, as well as the times they open and close.

The hotel offers an assortment of food choices. The food was a hit or miss, so not necessarily a reason to book this resort. They have a Steakhouse which was our favorite during our stay. They do have a sports bar that is open 24/7 where you can get burgers, nachos, hot dogs, and sandwiches for a late-night snack. You do not have to have a reservation at the a la carte restaurants but it is recommended to reserve on the app. The main buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner had a fantastic variety of fresh dishes to choose from. They also have a Pepe’s taco bar by the pool. You will find hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos, pizza and other small snack items. The Asian restaurant is a specialty buffet of a mix of Sushi and Chinese food. The Italian restaurant includes a self-service salad and appetizer bar. They do have an open-air romantic dinner which is an additional charge.
