Costa Rica is a land of volcanoes, rainforests and cloud forests.
Want a vacation in a place rich in culture, scenery, and a vast rainforest to explore then Costa Rica is the trip for you. From its pristine coastline to its volcanoes towering into the sky, and the lush rainforest. Costa Rica will be an adventure the moment you hit the ground.
Are you into wildlife? Costa Rica is home to many species. Our feathered friends like the Keel Billed Toucan and the Ornate Hawk Eagle are a site to see. Or the over five million migrating birds that passthrough Costa Rica every year.
Costa Rica has four species of monkeys including The Squirrel Monkey, Howler monkeys, Spider monkeys and the capuchin monkeys. There are also Sloths, Jaguars, and Agouti just to name a few of the of the mammals you could see. You can also see Crocodiles, Turtles, Dolphins, Whales, and a lot of beautifully colored frogs.
Costa Rica is not just place to see amazing thing it is also a place to meet amazing people. Costa Ricaβs people are a vibrant blend of indigenous heritage and Spanish colonial influence, with a dash of Jamaican, Chinese. Because of its people Costa Rica is known for being the happiest country in the world. This blend of cultures make there art, music, food and traditions very unique.
When we went we stayed at the Riu Guanacaste which is an all inclusive resort there. We got a room on the jungle side, which I love. Went out on the balcony every morning to hear the howler monkeys. The resort had great food, service, and entertainment. The beaches were the best a lot of fish would swim right up to you.
While we were there we went on a river tour. Where we seen crocodiles, Iguanas, bats, and birds of every color. We also went on a fishing tour where we caught tuna and needle fish. We were fishing for roster fish but never got one on the line.
All in all the trip was great. This is one of my most recommended trips and we will go back again. So if you love adventure, jungles, great beaches, and great people Costa Rica is the trip for you.
